chopped it off.

in conjunction of welcoming 2013, i had finally decided to chopped of half of my hair. Courtesy by my favorite hair dresser, Mr. Andy Ho from Haute Coiffure!

2009. my hair was straight and long.

and I had cut half of it the next year.

mid 2011- the half chopped grew back again. 

so, i decided to go on curls on October.

byebye curly hair! I'm on my original straight hair back! =)

By the by, have you ever had your hair permed before and wondered, why the f is your new-baru-tumbuh hair is still curly even though it is supposed to straight?

Well, apparently the chemical from the permed will not stay at that one particular place. It will start spread to the new hair and will cause damage. So, trim the curly parts now and then before you get split ends and dry hair - not cool.

It has been awhile going to these kinda events. Well, back then everybody were kids. Like, high school kids. I remembered the last time attending this kinda parties was in 2006. and before 2006 was 2004. Hehe!

what does that mean?

SETERINA. 2005.

After I changed my screen name to seterina on Myspace for a month (for that one time only), people kept on calling me seterina. Even after Myspace was the "in" thing and that screen name was no longer in use. New, old, Cyberjaya, KL, Kuantan, Melaka, Twitter (that time twas @astrinasue), Facebook, MMU, KLIUC, LUCT, UiTM friends calls me with that one particular screen name that I created circa 2005.

Back in my diploma days, whenever I hangout with my friends who brought their friends, therefore, new friend(s) for me, I'll introduce myself as Sue. And there it goes... The continuous question. 

"NAMA PENUH APA? SURAYA? SUHAILA? SUHAIZA?". 

And my answer will be very short: 

"nu'uh. Sulaiman". 

Somehow, that short-two-word-answer will lead me to: 

"HAHAHAHAHA cakap lah bebetul. Nama penuh apa? Suzana? Huh?? Su Az...rina? Masa kekecik suka minum susu ke? Nanti I add you on Myspace eh? Nama Myspace you apa? huh? bagi email lah... nanti you text I okay?".

YES. MY MOTHER NAMED ME BASED ON WHAT I LIKE TO CONSUME AFTER 3 HUMPING DAYS OLD. SORRY IF MY MOTHER COULD NOT AFFORD TO WAIT NINE YEARS LATER JUST TO IDENTIFY MY LIKING OF FOOD AND NAME ME NASI LEMAK ASTRINA OR ROTI CANAI BANJIR ASTRINA. 

Okay, the point of me posting this is, the group of people that calls me seterina will eventually ask me: "what does seterina means?". Yeah, ada juga yang tanya after 12-48bulan panggil saya dengan namaskrin tersebut dengan penuh rasa konfidensi.

seterina was taken from my middle name, Astrina. And whenever my friends screamed out my full name: SUUUUUUUUU ASETEEERIIIIINA!!! 

Twas the easiest way for me to spell it out: SE-TE-R-I-N-A. and twill be in lowercase letters for one reason, the word sete is not a part of my real name, hence it doesn't need to be recognized. 

As I grew older, I've realized that my screen name needed to be customized. I've changed my tweet name to @SETERiNA with a lowercase i that represent i- as in myself, without getting confused with the number 1(one) or lowercase L which looks like a capital letter "i".

On 2010, I went to Usher. Twas AWESOME! 2011 was the year of "Dale!", Pitbull (duhh~) was AMAZING! And this year, was Jennifer Lopez and twas above, way beyond awesome and amazing-this is when the phrase, "no words can describe" can be used!
